Our Practitioners
Sima is our resident Amatsu practitioner bringing over 30 years of expertise in treating sports related injuries and massage therapy.
Sima's journey with Amatsu began in 2007 following a life changing car accident that temporarily left her paralysed from the neck down. Although she began regaining motor and sensory nerve responses in her vertebrae within a few days, she was left with persistent numbness in her left arm, which significantly impacted her professional and daily life.
After a year of exploring various therapeutic approaches with little improvement, Sima was introduced to Amatsu, a therapy she had not encountered before. Following her introduction, she experienced remarkable benefits and a significant recovery, which profoundly inspired her. Motivated to share this transformative therapy with others, she pursued extensive training in the discipline. Sima successfully earned certifications in Anma, Seitai and Shinden, qualifying as a professional Amatsu practitioner.
Amatsu focuses on realigning the structure of the body, re-patterning the neuro-muscular system, restoring balance and helping the body to heal and repair itself.
Sima will also examine the impact of physical and emotional stresses encountered in daily life, as well as injury patterns stemming from trauma experienced from childhood through adulthood. These injury patterns can manifest within the body as pain, dysfunction, and misalignment, often resulting from the cumulative effects of stress and unresolved past traumas. By addressing these underlying issues, she aims to facilitate improved physical alignment and over all well-being.
Sima also specialises in Laser and Electrolysis treatments with over 30 years experience in laser hair removal, blood blisters, skin tags , thread veins and milia removal. Additionally she is highly experienced in electrolysis for hair removal, offering safe and effective solutions tailored to individual needs.
